“Made in EU-PV” – Progress and opportunities to contribute

We are happy to share good news about the »Made in EU-PV« film initiative: The film will be produced the coming months, as it has now gathered sufficient funds.

As earlier communicated, ESMC is a cooperation partner for the film project. The plan is to produce a film of approximately 25 minutes, with the intention to convince political leaders and other decision-makers that Europe needs PV manufacturing on its own ground.

The major sponsor is EERA-PV, gathering most of the major Research Organizations. Other sponsors are Helmholtz HZB, TNO, IPVF and CSEM-EPFL. One of the goals are to highlight the joint Industry IPCEI initiative. The film will be technology neutral, and the editorial committee is composed of EERA-PV (with Veto right), alongside ESMC, HZB,TNO and Green Square.

At this stage, we want to invite you to participate in the process. Beside the possibility to express your vision in an interview, there are other things you could do if you would like to contribute to the content of the film:

Share any news or activity synthesis about your company or organization activity that could help showcase positive European industry examples.
Have you produced any reports, figures or have any data that helps support the message of the film? Please, feel free to share these with the film team.
