Carsten Rohr (Resilicon), Laura Sartore (EcoProgetti) and Mathias Bremer (Wacker Chemie) elected as Co-Chairs. Gaëtan Masson (Becquerel Institute), Marc Rechter (MCPV) and Thomas Rührlinger (Fronius International) will serve as Vice-Chairs.

The European Solar Manufacturing Council (ESMC) has elected its new Board of Directors at the General Assembly held on 10 March 2026. With around 70% of members participating, the election reflects strong engagement across the European solar manufacturing community and broad support for the selected candidates.
The newly elected Board reinforces ESMC’s role as the leading voice of Europe’s solar manufacturing industry. It brings together a balanced representation across the full photovoltaic (PV) value chain — from materials and equipment to cells, modules and advanced technologies — as well as broader geographical coverage and improved gender balance.
